As part of the campaign against child marriage - "Do Not Deprive Childhood", an essay contest for schoolchildren was announced, which will last till June 26 of the current year.
Rules for participation in the competition:
The content of the essay should relate to topics of child marriage;
The length of the essay should not exceed 200-300 words;
Public and private school students of Georgia (age 10-18) are eligible for participation in the competition.
Those wishing to participate in the competition should send the following information - author's first and last name, date of birth, school name and phone number;
Works that are essentially inconsistent with the topic and specified conditions, obscene, discriminatory, containing violence, as well as works that do not comply with general moral and ethical principles, will not be accepted;
Each contestant has the right to submit only one essay;
The participant must present his/her own essay, an essay found on the Internet will not be accepted;
The submitted essay must be copyrighted by the contestant. The Ministry is not responsible for third parties who may raise any kind of (property, non-property, copyright and related rights) claims regarding the published essay;
By participating in the contest, the contestant expresses his/her consent to participate in all events and campaigns related to this project;
By participating in the competition, the contestant expresses his consent and gives the right to the Ministry to use the sent essay in the future at its own discretion;
We inform you that by sending the essay, the contestant automatically agrees to the terms of the competition;
Essays can only be sent electronically to the following email address: adamianisuflebebi@mia.gov.ge. In the subject field, write "Essay competition for school students". Competition works can be sent till June 26.
Papers submitted late and/or with incomplete data will not be eligible.
After the end of the competition, the members of the jury will select three best works, which will be awarded.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has been conducting "Do Not Deprive Childhood" campaign for the fifth year, and its main goals are prevention of crimes related to early marriage in childhood, raising public awareness and providing timely notification to law enforcement officers about such category of crimes.
