For the offence occurred near the building of Rustavi 2 on March 19, 2018 five members of “Georgian Marsh” – M.A., V.S., I.D., G.O. and L.N. – are detained under the sub-clause “a” of the II part of the Article 239 (hooliganism perpetrated by a group’s conspiracy) of the Criminal Code of Georgia. The crime committed envisages imprisonment from 2 to 5 years in length. The investigation continues in order to identify other individuals – interrogation of witnesses is underway, relevant examinations are assigned.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs will protect the security of each citizen and will react to each fact of violence, regardless of the motive of violence.
