The officers of Didube-Chughureti Division of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-investigative activities on the fact of robbery detained P.Ch. (DoB: 1967). The crime committed by him envisages imprisonment from 5 to 7 years in length.
The investigation established that on May 16 of the current year, the offender attacked "Liberty Bank" located on Robakidze Avenue, Tbilisi and under the threat of life stole 4580 GEL, 200 EUR and 100 US dollars. Law enforcers detained P.Ch. on the second day after the crime. The part of the stolen amount is seized as material evidence.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of robbery (I part of the Article 179 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
