The officers of Vake-Saburtalo Division of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, detained A.N. (DoB: 2000) on the fact of causing intentional serious damage to health. The crime committed envisages imprisonment for the period from 9 to 13 years.
The investigation established that on January 31 of the current year, in A. Kazbegi Avenue, Tbilisi, on the territory of s.c. Red Garden, on the basis of a conflict A.N. wounded in the abdomen and chests with a cold steel his former classmates – N.Ts (DoB: 2000) and I.Ts. (DoB: 2000), as well as less seriously injured the hand of L.Kh (DoB: 2000) and later managed to escape from the scene. All three wounded minors were taken to a hospital, currently their lives are not in danger.
As a result of the immediate investigative activities the law enforcers detained A.N. in Tbilisi. The police have seized the weapon – knife - as a material evidence. Investigation is in progress on the fact of intentional serious damage to health (part 7 of the Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
