As a result of the conducted operational-search measures and investigative actions, officers of Tbilisi Police and Kakheti Police Departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested M.A., born in 1971, on charges of premeditated murder and illegal possession of a firearm.
The crime envisions up to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on September 21, 2022, in one of the villages of Kakheti region, the accused person fatally wounded A.H., born in 1986, with several shots from an automatic firearm and fled the scene.
As a result of the measures taken in the case, law enforcement officers detained the accused in Kakheti.
The investigation is underway under Articles 108 and 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
