The officers of the Search Division of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative and search activities detained in Batumi 5 persons wanted under the Interpol Red Notice of Turkey.
The detainees are as follows:
O.G (DoB: 1977) is charged with inflicting bodily injuries and sexual assault. The subject is wanted by the law enforcement agencies from 2021.
F.D. (DoB: 1983) is charged with inflicting bodily injuries, carrying of weapon and illegal deprivation of liberty. The subject is wanted under the Red Notice from 2020.
A.E. (DoB: 1985) is wanted from 2021 by the Interpol of Turkey for armed robbery and illegal deprivation of liberty committed in group.
T.A. (DoB: 1988) is wanted from 2019 by the law enforcement officers of Turkey under the Red Notice on the fact of armed robbery and illegal deprivation of liberty.
B.I. (DoB: 1971) is wanted from 2017 under the Red Notice for engaging in prostitution, providing logging for prostitution and encouraging prostitution.
Currently, the extradition proceedings against the detainees are underway.
