The officers of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative and investigative activities detained in Tbilisi L.I. (DoB: 2005) on the fact of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances against a minor with prior knowledge, while P.V. (DoB: 2004) was detained for failure to report a particularly serious crime.
The investigation established that on December 4 of the current year L.I. on the grounds of dispute inflicted bodily injuries with a cold steel to D.K. (DoB: 2006) and fled from the scene. The second accused, P.V. who witnessed a particularly serious crime and failed to report it to law enforcement agency fled from the crime scene along with the accused L.I.
The wounded D.K. died after being transferred to the hospital.
As a result of immediate operative and search activities, the law enforcers detained the alleged perpetrators of the crime shortly after the incident.
Investigation is in progress under the sub-clause “b” of the part II of the Article 109 and part III of the Article 376 of the Criminal Code of Georgia - premediated murder of a minor under aggravating circumstances and failure to report a particularly serious crime.
