The officers of Gldani-Nadzaladevi Police Division of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs solved the fact of robbery of one of the branches of “Liberty Bank”.
The law enforcers detained the offender at the time when he threatening with the firearm stole money from the bank and tried to hide. Z.L. (DoB: 1977) is arrested on the fact of robbery. The crime committed envisages imprisonment from 5 to 7 years in length.
The medical mask, gloves, stolen money and crime weapon (presumably pneumatic weapon) were seized by police from the crime scene, which were consequently sent for the expertise.
During the initial inquiry, the detainee Z.L. admitted that on February 27 of the current year he attacked the same branch of “Liberty Bank”, where threatening with the weapon he stole money and managed to escape.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of crime perpetrated under violence endangering a person’s life or health (part I of the Article 179 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
