The Ministry of Internal Affairs is celebrating Georgia’s Independence Day in Poti. The event, organized by the government administration, is taking place on the territory of the central square of Poti.
The guests attending the event are being hosted by Guram Zesashvili, Director of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department. The ceremonial event was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, First Deputy State Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - Nino Vibliani, Deputy Davit Kukhaleishvili, representatives of local authorities and heads of various departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The exhibition spaces have been actively visited since the morning, both by locals and guests of the city and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with their children. The guests are personally hosted by the heads of various departments of the Ministry.
As part of the event, guests have the opportunity to view historical installations created on the theme of Georgia's Independence Day, a helicopter of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as information and exhibition stands, special gear and equipment presented by various units. A number of informational, cognitive and entertainment spaces have been arranged for children.
