Minister of Internal Affairs - Vakhtang Gomelauri, together with Prime Minister - Irakli Kobakhidze, members of the government and Parliament rmembers, decorated the graves of 17 heroes who died during the August 2008 war in Shindisi and paid tribute to the memory of the fallen heroes.
Memorial service was held in Shindiis to honor the fallen fighters.
On August 11, 2008, 17 Georgian soldiers heroically died during an unequal clash with a Russian military unit.
