The Ministry of Internal Affairs is involved in all spheres of life in the country. Everyone needs to understand that dignity and equal justice are the greatest values, as you are represented everywhere. The person who comes out in the street, perceives the state primarily through you. Man in uniform and their actions are clear depiction of the state itself. This is a huge responsibility. Obviously, all the policemen and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who sacrificed their lives to the fight against crime, sacrificed themselves for the sake of the country's interests, unity, protection, should be commemorated and paid relevant respect, we have to take care of their families and children- this is a simple truth. That’s what enhances our dignity, makes us proud when wearing police uniform, that’s what must we live for, breath and serve on the daily basis. That’s the whole idea. I would like to congratulate you once again and remind that there is no greater dignity, than to serve your country and citizens in the time of peace, to protect their health, life, peace on the daily basis, there is no greater dignity than that” - stated Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia.

We are aware what it takes to be a policeman, risking your health, everything for ensuring safety of the citizens. You have done so much; I do not wish to single out anyone, as all units were involved and I would like to thank each of you, congratulate once again and wish you success and good health. We know what it takes to be serving police, as it’s been years since I also became part of this agency.
