The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, hosted a delegation from the Guizhou Province of the People's Republic of China, headed by Vice Governor and the head of the Public Security Bureau of Guizhou Province - Jia Lijun, paying official visit to Georgia.
During the meeting, both parties reviewed the ongoing cooperation between Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the law enforcement agencies of the People's Republic of China. Discussions also extended to future collaborative efforts, focusing on the exchange of experiences and best practices.
Aleksandre Darakhvelidze highlighted the Ministry's commitment to enhancing and strengthening bilateral cooperation. The Deputy Minister provided the delegation with comprehensive updates on the Ministry’s activities, current and ongoing reforms that have been implemented.
At the meeting’s conclusion, the head of the delegation expressed gratitude towards the Ministry of Internal Affairs and shared his optimism for further intensifying and expanding the existing bilateral relations.
