Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, head of the Border Police, General-Major Zurab Gamezardashvii is paying an official visit to Moldova in connection with the 25th anniversary of Moldova National Police.
Within the frames of the visit Zurab Gamezardashvili held meeting the Minister of Interior of Moldova Oleg Balan and handed over a gift in connection with the remarkable date on behalf of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Giorgi Mgebrishvili.
At the meeting the two sides outlined mutual aspirations towards euro integration and discussed achievements of Georgia and Moldova in terms of the visa liberalization.
Minister of Interior of Moldova familiarized Georgian colleagues with recently implemented reforms and shared his experience. Sides also discussed migration and trans-border crime issues and once again outlined the importance of the cooperation in the sphere of the mutual interests.
Head of the Border Police, General Major Zurab Gamezardashvili has invited Minister of Interior of Moldova Oleg Balan to Georgia on behalf of Minister Mgebrishvili within the frames of the official visit.
