Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Levan Izoria along with the director of International Relations Department Shalva Kvinikhidze and Chairman of Foreign Relations Committee at the Georgian Parliament Tedo Japaridze met with co-reporters from Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) – Mr. Michael Aastrup Jensen, Mr. Boriss Cilevics and the Deputy Head of Secretariat, Mr. Bas Klein
The parties discussed the state of affairs on the occupied territories of Georgia and important reforms that were and are being implemented at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The visit is held within the framework of the on-going monitoring procedure in respect of Georgia and includes meetings with the Prime Minister of Georgia, the President of Georgia, other Members of the Government of Georgia and non-governmental organizations.
