The Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia - Vahe Ghazaryan, along with the delegation, paid an official visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri held an introductory meeting with Mr. Vahe Ghazaryan. In the yard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the guests laid a wreath at the memorial to the police officers fallen for the unity of Georgia.
The members of delegation of Police of the Republic of Armenia got acquainted with the reforms implemented in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The participants of the meeting focused on the prospects of deepening future relations and agreed on planning joint activities.
From the Georgian side the meeting was attended by the Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs: Giorgi Butkhuzi, Ioseb Chelidze and Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, as well as the Heads of various units of the Ministry, while from the Armenian side the meeting was attended by the Deputy Heads of Police, Head of Yerevan City Police and the Heads of various units.
Within the framework of the three-day official visit, the Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia, along with the delegation will visit the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Service Agency, the Public Security Management Center "112", the MIA Academy and will get familiarized with the specifics of work.
