The Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri held a meeting with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Georgia, Louisa Vinton.
At the meeting the parties discussed the projects implemented and planned by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia with the aim of improving the quality of protection of human rights.
Vakhtang Gomelauri emphasized the efficient fight carried out against crimes committed with the signs of discrimination.
Louisa Vinton positively assessed the activities implemented by the Human Rights Protection and Investigation Quality Monitoring Department of the MIA.
The Minister of Internal Affairs and the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Georgia defined the capacity building measures for the Ministry and the plans of future cooperation.
