Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze visited public school N14 in Nadzaladevi district where he studied and met with pupils from 9th, 10th and 11th grades. Meeting was held within the frames of the anti-drug campaign. Meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lia Gigauri. Minister of Internal Affairs familiarized pupils with campaign launched by the Ministry which is aimed at combating synthetic drug use and discussed threats caused by the use of the mentioned narcotic. Minister also provided pupils with answers on their questions.
Ministry of Internal Affairs launched anti-drug campaign on March 24. Aim of the campaign is the prevention of the use of synthetic narcotics and providing public with information on the mentioned subject. Slogan of the campaign is – “Change the attitude together”. Doctors who participated in social videos will inform public on threats and dangers of the so called bio drugs. Social videos will be aired by TV channels and radios and shown at cinemas and disseminated in social networks.
Within the frames of the campaign special informative video was also prepared by Emergency Response Center 112 by means of which society will receive information on first symptoms typical after using “bio” narcotics. Public will also receive information on inevitability to call ambulance after detecting first signs of synthetic drugs addiction.
