Chief Commandant of the National Police of the Republic of Poland, lieutenant-general, Yaroslav Shimchik congratulated Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri with the Independence Day of Georgia.
"Dear Minister, the date of 26th May is close to the heart of every citizen of Georgia. Independence Day is a holyday commemorating national identity, integrating long and rich history, tradition and culture of the country. Values are so important for Poland which also in 1919 regained its independence. However, police officers, we are aware that life is not free of threats. I’m convinced that this everyday work, often difficult, makes contribution to the construction of our daily independence. On the occasion of this beautiful national holiday of Georgia, I offer my sincere congratulations and I share the joy you experience now. Moreover, I would like to wish you and your subordinated police offices and civil employees a lot of health, safe service and satisfaction from the mission entrusted to us "- stated Yaroslav Shimchik in his congratulatory message.
