As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested G.T., born in 1978, with a previous conviction, on charges of premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisions up to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that in the village of Mejvriskhevi, Gori Municipality, the accused person, during a dispute over the past conflict, shot V.J., born in 1978, in the neck area with a hunting rifle. The wounded man died before he was admitted at the medical facility.
The police seized the weapon of crime as evidence.
An investigation into the fact of premeditated murder is underway under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
