The officers of Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained G.B. (DoB 1988), as a result of operative-investigative measures and investigative activities for premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisions from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person inflicted a fatal gunshot wound to J.P. (DoB 1965), on May 21 of the current year, on the grounds of an argument, who died on the place of crime as a result of the inflicted wound.
As a result of the investigation, the law enforcers arrested G.B. 2 days after the incident.
Police seized firearms and ammunition as evidence during a search of the accused's place of residence.
Investigation is underway under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates premeditated murder.
