The fire which broke out on the slope of Shavnabada Mountain, Khulo municipality, has been liquidated. At this moment, withdrawal of the live force from the territory is in progress.
In the fire-extinguishing activities, held on the slope of Shavnabada Mountain, up to 700 fire-rescuers were involved. Despite the difficult relief, new roads have been made, enabling firefighting technic to reach the fire pockets. In the first days of fire, two helicopters were involved in the operation to liquidate fire in the shortest period of time.
For the prevention reasons, part of the fire-fighters of the Emergency Situations Management Agency remains at the place as well as the firefighting technic.
