The Ministry of Internal Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science initiated and organized visit of the pupils of Rustavi Public School N18 to N3 Division (Tsiteli Khidi) of the Border Police within the frames of “Maintenance of law and crime prevention program for public schools".
Pupils got familiarized with Border Police structure and work specific, viewed border guard’s weapons and transport. Representatives of the Border police reviewed border guard’s profession and familiarized pupils with Modern border security technologies. Pupils also viewed k-9 service. At the end of the visit representatives of Border Police showed guests around the land border line and watch tower.
“Maintenance of law and crime prevention program for public schools" project is aimed at crime prevention among youth, promotion of the public awareness among them on security issues, boosting awareness of pupils regarding the issue of justice and at having the realistic perception on the operation of the law enforcement agencies.
