Basketball team “MIA Academy” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has won the Quarterfinal Series with the total score 3-2 and defeated “Sokhumi” basketball team. “MIA Academy” defeated the opponent with the final score-47-71. All play-off matches were held at the Sport Palace.
Leadership of the team is still preserved by: Giorgi Sharabidze, Nika Metreveli, Giorgi Tsintsadze, and Beka Tsivtsivadze. According to the team coach, Kote Tughushi: “MA Academy” is a distinguished team competing in the Championship of Georgia, our ultimate goal is to win the final game”
