The delegation of the National Organized Crime Agency of the Criminal Police and Investigation Service Police of the Czech Republic, headed by the Director of the agency - Jiř Mazanek, paid an official working visit to the
Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The delegation was hosted by the Director of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Teimuraz Kupatadze.
Within the framework of the visit, guests held their first meeting with the Director of the Central Criminal Police Department and other managers of respective department. Within the frames of the meeting, the parties outlined the importance of the partnership between two countries’ law enforcement agencies and expressed their willingness to actively continue cooperation, includin in the field such as sharing experience and best practices, as well as capacity building for the representatives of the agency.
Within the framework of the official working visit, members of the delegation visited the Service Agency, Forensic-Criminalistics Department, Public Safety Command Center “112”, Patrol Police Department and the Police Academy, whereas heads of the relevant units informed the members of the delegation about the specifics of their work.
At the end of the visit, the head of the delegation expressed gratitude towards their Georgian side for their hospitality and expressed hope that cooperation with Georgian colleagues will be actively continued in the future.
