The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA) hosted participants of a training conducted within the framework of the NATO Science for Peace and Security Program – “Cooperative Solutions to Critical Security Issues in the Black Sea Region”.
With the support of MIA, training participants visited the Administrative Boundary Line in Didi Khurvaleti.
The training participants also visited LEPL Academy of the MIA, where they had the chance to view Academy’s infrastructure and to familiarize themselves with the simulation exercises. Employees of the Academy and the Central Criminal Police Department gave a presentation on the MIA Academy and shared Georgia’s experience in the sphere of fight against Trafficking in Black Sea region.
Participants of the training, that will be held on June 8-12, 2015, are representatives of state institutions and universities from: Egypt, Germany, Georgia, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine and the USA.
