The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri, the First Deputy Minister Shalva Bedoidze and the Deputy Ministers - Ioseb Chelidze and Giorgi Butkhuzi visited the police units of the Republic of Armenia within the framework of their official visit.
Vakhtang Gomelauri and his deputies visited the Armenian police troops, viewed armament of military units, special means, armored technic and police vehicles.
Armenian law enforcers held a simulation exercise for Georgian guests for maintaining public order. Special forces personnel presented practical elements of combat tactics and imitated an operation to neutralize a terrorist group.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri, also visited the “Tsitsernakaberd” complex, where he paid tribute to the memory of the Armenians who died in 1915 and laid a wreath at the memorial.
During the official visit, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia held meetings with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia - Nikol Fashinyan and the Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia - Vahe Ghazaryan.
