Within the frames of memorandum of co-operation concluded between “Youth National center” of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and Emergency Situations management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “young rescuers” team which consists of seven members participated in international contest held in Gabala, Azerbaijan on 22-28 June. The contest was dedicated to the 91st anniversary of Heidar Alyiev and was organized by Emergency Situations Ministry of Azerbaijan.
Georgian team participated in international contest for the first time. The team was comprised of pupils from public schools N82 and N119 located in Tbilisi. Before departing to Azerbaijan pupils have undergone theoretical and practical trainings on the base of MIA Emergency Management Department.
In the mentioned contest pupils from Georgia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Russia and Azerbaijan were involved. Contest was comprised of various.
By the end of the contest pupils were awarded with honorable certificates by the Minister of Emergency Situations.
