The cascade training on the rights and communication standard for the persons with disabilities for the respresentatives of the Patrol Police Department has commenced.
The cascade training on the rights and communication standard for the persons with disabilities for the respresentatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been launched with the support of the European Union and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department - Sergi Bzishvili, Team Leader of Human Rights, Justice and Home Affairs of the EU Delegation to Georgia – Agata Nieboj and Team Leader of Democratic Governance at UNDP Georgia delivered the opening remarks.
The aim of the training is to enhance the knowledge of the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the rights and communication standard for the persons with disabilities and develop the necessary skills.
Initially it is prioritized to train the officers of the Patrol Police Department on the rights and communication standard for the persons with disabilities.
As a result of the cascade trainings, up to 2200 representatives of the Patrol Police Department will be trained across the country.
In the future similar trainings will be conducted for the relevant departments of the Ministry.
