The officers of Ajara main Division of the Patrol Police Department along with Customs Department of the Revenue Service under the Ministry of Finance, as a result of jointly held investigative activities the citizen of Bulgari Krasimir D. (DoB 1986) was exposed at Sarpi BCP for smuggling drugs in large quantities on the territory of Georgia and for International Transit Shipment Across Georgia.
During the searching activities held in the citizen’s truck law enforcers seized 43200 pills of “Sedalgin” drug which according to expertise contains 432 gr of codeine and 648 gr psychotropic substance, phenobarbital in particular.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of smuggling drugs in especially large quantities on the territory of Georgia and for international transit shipment across the country, article 262, IV part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
