The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities, detained V.B. (DoB 1979) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
Committed crime envisages from 8 to 20 years or lifetime imprisonment.
During the personal search and search activities held in detainee’s house, law enforcers seized “Methadone” drug in especially large quantities and various psychotropic drugs in large quantities as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large and large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph “D” and part VI of the same article, sub-paragraph “A” as well as article 261, III part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
