The Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has purchased ten new fire trucks, which will be distributed to regions throughout the country. New, off-road fire trucks are designed for fighting forest fires and have modern technical characteristics.
The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Ioseb Chelidze and the Head of the Emergency Situations Management Service - Temur Mgebrishvili, viewed the new fire trucks and got familiarized with their functional and technical characteristics at the base of the Main Division for Responding to Special Situations.
The Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs actively continues to update the fire-rescue vehicle fleet. In order to improve the quality of response to emergency situations, equipment and special appliances renewal projects are scheduled as well.
