The officers of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative and investigative activities detained G.Kh. (DoB1989) in Tbilisi for the attempted premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on July 5 of the current year, G.Kh. suddenly attacked foreign citizen – J. K. and inflicted injuries with a cold steel on K. Khetagurov Street, Tbilisi. The injured foreign citizen was transferred to the hospital by the ambulance crew. G.K. was arrested at the scene. According to the family members of the detainee, he is experiencing mental problems.
Police seized the weapon of crime - a knife as evidence.
An investigation is in progress on the fact of the attempted premeditated murder, crime envisaged under Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
