The Ministry of Internal Affairs actively continues to operate along with the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) to prevent the possible spread of the new Coronaviruses and closely monitors citizens in self-isolation.
As a result of the joint monitoring measures held in Imereti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Guria regions, three persons were exposed for violating rules of self-isolation.
All exposed individuals were fined by police in the amount of 3000 GEL for violating rules of self-isolation and transferred them to the obligatory quarantine zones.
All legal entities and physical persons must follow regulations defined by the declared state of emergency, the violation of which may result in administrative charges, whereas the secondary violation perpetrated by the same person will bring him/her to criminal responsibility.
