The officers of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested R.M. (DoB 1983), on charges of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances against a family member as a result of operative measures and investigative activities carried out as a result of immediate police activities.
The committed crime envisions from 13 to 17 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on May 21 of the current year, on Guramishvili Avenue, Tbilisi, the accused person inflicted multiple wounds with a cold weapon to his wife - S.K. (DoB 1991) in public transport as a result of jealousy. Due to the traumas, the victim died on the spot.
Law enforcers arrested the person accused of the crime at the scene. The weapon of the crime was seized as evidence.
The investigation is underway under Article 109, Part II, Subparagraph "F" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates premeditated murder of a family member committed under aggravating circumstances.
