The officers of Vake-Saburtalo Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained N.T. (DoB 2001), as a result of operative and investigative activities for inflicting severe health injury on purpose to a minor.
The committed crime envisages from 7 to 10 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on December 18 of the current year, N.T. had an argument with a minor - L.S. (DoB 2006), during which he stabbed him with a cold weapon and fled the scene.
L.S. was taken to a hospital where he received appropriate medical care.
As a result of the immediate police measures, the law enforcers arrested N.T. in Tbilisi.
The investigation is underway under Article 117, Part V, Subparagraph "A" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates inflicting sever health injury on purpose to a minor.
