Employees of Isani-Samgori Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational-search measures and investigative actions detained R.Kh. (DoB 2006) on the basis of the judge's decision for violating privacy, sexual acts against a minor with prior knowledge, and extortion.
The committed crimes envision up to 15 years in prison.
In the course of investigation, it was established that the accused person demanded from a minor - A.S. to send photos and video material depicting her personal life through the social network, with which he then blackmailed the victim and extorted various amounts of cash.
The investigation also established that the accused person threatened A.S. with violence and performed other acts of a sexual nature as well.
The investigation is being conducted under the Article 157(1), part I, 138, Part I and III sub-paragraph "A" and Article 181 part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
