The officers of Vake-Saburtalo police division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained Z.Q. (DoB 1977) on Kartozia Street, Tbilisi for threatening ex-spouse and stalking.
The committed crime envisages up to 3 years of imprisonment.
As a result of investigative activities it was established that Z.Q. threatened his ex-spouse- N.K. with liquidation. Investigation also found out that beginning from April 2018, till April 3, 2020 detainee communicated with his ex-spouse through the mobile phone and in person and was permanently stalking her, thus N.K. had to ask police for help.
In parallel with investigation, restraining order was also issued against Z.K. Along with other restrictions defined by the restraining order, detainee was also deprived of his firearm.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of threat against the family member and stalking, article 111-152, II part, sub-paragraph “D” and part I of the same article envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
