The officers of Gori Police Division under Gori Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities, detained previously convicted person in Gori – L.N. (DoB 2001) for the attempted premeditated murder and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of a firearm.
The committed crime envisages from 7 to15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that detainee, on the grounds of vengeance, inflicted an injury with a firearm in the back area to A.A. (DoB 1990) and fled from the place of crime. The wounded person has been transferred to the hospital.
As a result of intensive operative and investigative activities, L.N. was taken under arrest several hours later after the crime took place.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of attempted premeditated murder and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of a firearm, crimes envisaged under the articles 19-108 and 236, parts III and IV of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
