The employees of Isani-Samgori Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, along with the employees of Vake-Saburtalo and Detectives Main Divisions of the same department, as a result of the operative-search measures and investigative actions, detained L.T. (DoB 2005) for stabbing two persons.
The committed crime envisions from 9 to 13 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on August 24 of the current year, in one of the buildings located in Zemo Ponichal settlement in Tbilisi, two persons - D.Sh. (DoB 1997), and M.Z. (DoB 1972) have been inflicted injuries using a cold steel and the incident, L.T. fled from the scene of the accident.
The injured persons were taken to the hospital, where they received appropriate medical care.
Law enforcement officers arrested L.T. shortly after the incident.
The police seized the weapon of crime - a knife as evidence.
The investigation into the fact of severe damage to health committed against two persons on purpose is ongoing under Article 117, Part III of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
