As a result of hot pursuit and investigative actions, officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested G.T. (DoB 2000) in Batumi on charges of premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisions up to15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on January 24 of the current year, in the so-called military settlement in Batumi, the detainee, on the basis of a mutual dispute, inflicted fatal injuries to D.M. (DoB 1986), with a blunt object on various parts of the body and fled the scene.
As a result of immediate investigative actions, the police arrested G.T., a few hours after the incident.
The incident is being investigated under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies premeditated murder.
