The officers of the Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-investigative and search activities, detained previously convicted V.E. (DoB 1989) for illegal purchase and storage of drugs in especially large quantities, illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
The committed crime envisages from 8 to 20 years or lifetime imprisonment.
During the search of the vehicle owned by the detainee and his apartment, the law enforcers seized 535 pills containing buprenorphine, 4 syringes containing buprenorphine and methadone, COMBAT- PPI and „ZORAKI M906“ pistols, hand grenade and grenade launcher and 82 magazines as well as a large amount of cash.
The investigation is in progress under Article 260, Part VI, Article 236, Parts III and IV as well as Article 273 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
