Based on the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council of the Government of Georgia, due to high epidemiological risks, strict quarantine restrictions have been imposed in some of the administrative units of Kobuleti municipality, namely in: Gvara, Mukhaestate, Leghva and Tskavroka. Enforcement of the strict quarantine restrictions will be implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in a round-the-clock regime.
Terms of quarantine also include restriction of the movement of local population inside and outside the mentioned administrative units of Kobuleti Municipality. The movement of citizens at the police checkpoints, arranged in Gvara, Mukhaestate, Leghva and Tskavroka administrative units, is strictly monitored by the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and representatives of the Ministry of Defense.
In addition to the mentioned, citizens will also undergo initial thermal screening at the arranged checkpoints as well as in the quarantine zone.
Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will provide locals with comprehensive information regarding quarantine restrictions and provide assistance in case if needed.
All persons on the territory of Georgia must follow requirements of the Georgian legislation on public health.
Strict quarantine regulations imposed within the frames of the state emergency regime is enforced by police forces in Marneuli, Bolnisi and Lentekhi municipalities.
