Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs - Ioseb Chelidze and Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, together with the head of Emergency Situations Management Service - Temur Mghebrishvili, opened a new building of Emergency Situations Management Service in Oni, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti region.
The event was attended by the Governor of Racha-Lechkhum Kvemo Svaneti region - Parmen Margvelidze, representatives of the local government and leadership of Emergency Situations Management Service.
The new building was built according to modern standards and is equipped with the latest technic. Along with work spaces and rest rooms, special training space, training room and a gym for the employees are also located in the building.
The operational management center is also operational in the building, where the messages received by Emergency Situations Management Service in Racha region will be monitored and distributed to the relevant fire-rescue groups for further response.
Special parking lot for fire-rescue technic was arranged in the courtyard of Emergency Situations Management Service building. Solar energy panels were installed on the roof of the building, which is adapted for people with special needs.
