Rescuers of Emergency Situations Management Department of MIA held mountain-rescue operation and descended 3 citizens of Poland form the peak Tetnuldi. The emergency signal was received at the Emergency Situations Center approximately at 10:00 AM informing the staff that 3 Polish tourists couldn’t descend from the mountain as result of tough meteorological circumstances and were on 4200 meters from the sea level . The mountain rescuers from Mestia first Sub-division of Emergency Situation Management Agency started the mountain-rescue operation as soon as the emergency signal entered the Center. The crew was actively assisted by Border Police officers. Later, the additional crew from the base of Emergency Situation Response Center joined the rescue-operation. As a result of mountain-rescue operation, the officers of Emergency Situations Management Department could manage to safely rescue the tourists. Border Police helicopter was involved in the rescue operation.
