Residents of Akhalkalaki Surik M. (DoB 1968), Merab N. (DoB 1975) and Gavik B. (DoB 1985) voluntarily handed over firearms and armament to Samtskhe-Javakheti Regional Police Main Division. Citizens handed over the following arms and ammunition: 2 F-1 hand genade, 1 RG-42 type hand grenade, 3 detonators, 18 bullets aimed for the automatic weapon, 1 “TT” type pistol with two cartridges and 5 bullets, 400 gr of trotyl, one AKC automatic weapon with one cartridge and 60 bullets.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal code.
