Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has arranged field hospital in Marneuli.
According to the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council of the Government of Georgia, the Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was assigned to arrange field infrastructure in Marneuli and Bolnisi municipalities.
Employees of the Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been working throughout the night with the purpose to arrange field hospital.
In addition to the field hospital, a special area was also arranged to disinfect personnel who would be in contact with those in the field hospital.
The respective activities will be conducted by the Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear (CBRN) incident response teams of the Emergency Situations Management Service.
The works for arranging field hospital was supervised by the Head of Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs –Temur Mgebrishvili. His deputy, Levan Ghirsiashvili was also in Marneuli along with Department leadership and head of CBRN division.
