The officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-investigative activities solved the case of wounding that took place in Lagodekhi municipality. On the fact of the attempted premeditated murder, one person – M.Kh. (DoB 1993) has been detained.
The committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that detainee, after the conflict that took place during the festive dinner, inflicted injuries with a cold steel to his co-villager A.U. (DoB 1977). The wounded person was transferred to the hospital and provided relevant medical treatment.
Police managed to detain the accused person several hours later, on the territory of Lagodekhi municipality. The weapon of crime - knife was seized as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of the attempted premeditated murder, article 19-108 envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
