The officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative and investigative activities detained J.A. (DoB 1972) in Kisiskhevi village, Telavi municipality on the charges of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances.
Committed crime envisages from 16 to 20 years or lifetime imprisonment.
Investigation established that J.A. on the basis of conflict, inflicted multiple body injuries to his acquaintance – Kh.E. (DoB 1984) and accompanying female – D.P. (DoB 1992). The wounded male has been transferred to the hospital, while female victim died at the place of crime due to the sustained traumas.
Law enforcers detained J.A. shortly after the crime. The weapon of crime- knife has been seized by the law enforcers as evidence. The detainee has already pleaded guilty.
The investigation is in progress under article 108 and 19-109, III part, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
