According to the decision of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council of the Government of Georgia, two charter flights were made from Italy to Georgia. Both planes have already landed at Tbilisi International Airport. Upon entering the country, passengers have undergone all necessary and obligatory procedures:
“In order to prevent the spreading of the Coronavirus disease in the country, passports of all passengers returning to Georgia have been separately registered by specially assigned Border-Controllers of the Borders Management and Coordination Main Division of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Citizens of Georgia returned from Italy underwent a thermo-screening procedure. Also, the epidemiologists filled in respective documentation on site”-Stated the Head of the Border Management and Coordination Main Division of the Patrol Police Department - Guram Davitashvili.
Upon completing all necessary procedures the citizens of Georgia returning from Italy were transported to the quarantine zones by specially allocated buses.
