The officers of Ozurgeti Regional Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of search and investigative activities on the fact of armed robbery detained previously convicted G.L. (DoB: 1968).
The committed crime envisages from 5 to 7 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that in Ozurgeti at the "Lukoil” gas station located in Kostava Street G.L assaulted the operator threatening with a firearm, stole money in the amount of 550 GEL and fled from the crime scene.
As a result of the search and investigative activities, the Police detained the accused in a few days after the incident.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery under the Article 179 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
